Total Boosts Growth and Yield of Lowland Irrigated Rice

Location: Nueva Ecija and Pangasinan, Philippines

Project Type: Rice Field Trial

Year: 2025

This study evaluated the efficacy of Quantum-Total, a microbial inoculant, on lowland irrigated rice in the Philippines. Field trials were conducted at two locations using application rates of 1 and 2 quarts per hectare, applied alone or with full and half rates of inorganic fertilizer.

The 2-quart Quantum-Total treatment combined with full fertilizer consistently produced the highest agronomic performance, including plant height, tiller and panicle counts, biomass, and grain yield—achieving 8.43 t/ha in Nueva Ecija and 7.26 t/ha in Pangasinan. The results demonstrate that Quantum-Total improves nutrient uptake, plant health, and rice productivity, supporting its use as a sustainable input for intensified rice farming.

Quantum Growth® Enhances Dragon Fruit Growth and Quality in Vietnam

Location: Long An and Tien Giang, Vietnam

Project Type: Dragon Fruit Crop Enhancement

Year: 2018

This project evaluated the effects of Quantum Growth® (Quantum Light® and Quantum VSC®) on dragon fruit (Hylocereus undatus) cultivation in Long An and Tien Giang, Vietnam. Trials were conducted on both young and mature fruit-bearing plants. Applications involved monthly sprays for young plants and three seasonal sprays for mature plants, timed before flowering, at flowering onset, and after pollination.

Results showed significant improvements, including 25% faster growth in young plants, restoration of damaged roots within 12 days, and a substantial reduction in foxy disease, lowering pesticide use. Fruit quality and yield improved, leading to higher market value and cost savings for farmers. Overall, Quantum Growth® enhanced plant health, accelerated growth, and improved fruit quality under commercial cultivation conditions.

Quantum Growth® Boosts Coffee Plant Growth with Less Fertilizer

Location: Fraijanes, Guatemala

Project Type: Fertilizer Optimization

Year: 2017

This 10-month trial evaluated the effects of Quantum-Light® on small coffee plants in Fraijanes, Guatemala. The study compared three groups of 400 plants each: two groups treated with different amounts of Quantum-Light® combined with reduced fertilizer (50–83% of normal rates) and one control group with 100% fertilizer.

Results showed significant improvements in plants treated with Quantum-Light®, including up to 54% increase in plant height, 39% increase in stem diameter, 200% increase in flower crosses, and 57% increase in leaf number compared to the control. The treated plants also demonstrated denser root growth, highlighting Quantum-Light®’s ability to boost plant development while reducing the need for traditional fertilizer.
