MICROBE-LIFT® Technology Increases Survival of Ornamental Fish During Shipping

Location: Singapore

Project Type: Aquaculture

Year: 2009

Ecological-Asia tested MICROBE-LIFT® (Ammonia Remover and Special Blend) on Dwarf Gouramis during 48-hour shipping to improve water quality and survival. Compared to a control and a leading product (Product K), MICROBE-LIFT® maintained cleaner water, reduced ammonia and waste, and kept fish more active. Fish treated with MICROBE-LIFT® resumed normal behavior immediately after transfer, while untreated or Product K-treated fish were slow to recover, demonstrating superior protection during transport.
